PGH - Legends: A Night of Inspiration and Celebration

Join us for an evening celebrating the release of "The Wingmen," a captivating new book by author Adam Lazarus (DC 2006). This event is a special opportunity to connect with and share in the legacy of one of Ohio's greatest icons, John Glenn, and his friend, baseball legend Ted Williams.

Our author event will kick off at 6 p.m. with a welcome address, followed by a moderated discussion with Adam Lazarus. Together, they will explore Glenn's remarkable experiences, his contributions to the space program, his enduring impact on the nation and especially his 50-year friendship with the greatest hitter of all time, Ted Williams.

Following the discussion, there will be a book signing session, providing an opportunity for attendees to have their copies of "The Wingmen" personally signed by the author. Whether you're a military aviation enthusiast, a history buff, a baseball fan or simply curious about the lives of inspiring individuals, this event promises to be a rewarding experience.

"The Wingmen" unravels the gripping narrative of John Glenn's extraordinary journey as a distinguished combat fighter pilot of two wars, a pioneering astronaut, and a United States senator, as well as Ted Williams's heroics, both on and off the baseball diamond.
